This vine clip definitely got the most laughs at Children's Church today:


We watched Zach King's vine clips to inspire us for 6 second filmmaking.
We then brainstormed our ideas with Ricky.
We want to develop our own 6 second films and use them for children's church and communicating God's message to kids.

Sunday 23 November

We have added photos to our Han Tho Ko page.

Today we will talk about the village and the team visiting there.

Afterward we will practice the Christmas play and work on our Minecraft Church Complex

Sunday 2 and 9 November

Pastor Brett and a team are travelling to Myanmar tomorrow and visiting Celebration Centre Yangon and churches in the Chin State and the Shan State.

They will also visit the village that many of our families used to live. Maunghla and Mu Ban will see family members they haven't seen in decades. The team will bring the Good News of Jesus to the village.

Today we are talking about it and going to pray for the team.

WATCH OUT DEVIL! WE ARE KIDS WHO ARE LEARNING TO USE THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT!

(sword of the spirit is the word of God Eph 6:17)
IT IS OUR WEAPON OF WARFARE!
NO MORE WILL YOU TELL US WE ARE NO GOOD BECAUSE GOD SAYS HE CREATED US IN HIS IMAGE AND WE ARE GOOD!

My Father will honor anyone who serves me.

John 12:26

Your attitude must be like my own, for I, the Messiah, did not come to be served, but to serve and to give my life." (Matthew 20:28 LB)

How can we serve God?

Today we will look at two ways 

1] by being obedient to His voice

2] serving in His House, His church

“Whoever serves, [let it be] as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ.”

1 Peter 4:11

We receive this supply by faith.

We are learning about prayer.

One aspect of prayer is taking up our weapons against the schemes of the devil. 

One weapon is the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God (Ehpesians 6:17)

But we have to pick it up and use it for it to be effective. 

We need to pick up God's Word and speak it out 

Sunday 28th September

Today we are going to study this verse together and break down what it means.

We will also be viewing footage of the Yangon children praying and worshipping. 

They are good examples to us of God's righteous praying effectively and fervently!

Sunday 14th November

Today we are talking about why it is important to read our bible. 

Or if we don’t have a bible we can read it online.

We will look at how to use the online bible. 

We have our own tab to take us to it.
Why is it important to know the Word of God?

In the beginning the devil tricked Eve and said it was good to eat the fruit. He tried to tell her God was just being mean not letting them taste everything.

The devil is still trying to trick us.

He tries to make bad things look good and the goodness of God look bad. 

He tries to say there is nothing wrong with going on websites that our parents don’t know about, 

there’s nothing wrong going with our friends to places that we know are wrong – the devil tries to trick us and say 

it’s only fun and God or our parents just don’t want us having fun. 

But he is tricking us so we will end up like Adam and Eve and far away from God’s Presence and struggling with a difficult life.

We are going to see reading the bible - God’s Word will help us see the devil’s tricks and how to keep on the right track. 

We are going to look at some trick photography to show how our minds can be tricked and then have some fun trying to do our own trick photography. 

We will also look at an example of one scripture that helps us see the devils tricks and be clear about the truth.

We need to understand we need God’s Word because:     Our minds can be tricked!

We are looking at some tricks with photography and going to have a go ourselves :-)

Devil Tries to Trick Us:
He tries to tell us it doesn't matter what we do. We can just do what we want - nothing will happen.
But God says in Galatians 6:7 We will reap what we sow. - There are consequences to everything we do.

Mum said to do my homework and go to bed but I'll just watch one more programme - it doesn't matter.

Too tired and don't really understand the teacher: consequences of ignoring homework and going to bed late
